The fabric has been treated with Silverplus which is not only safe and pet friendly, but is also shown to have no negative effects to the environment. The antimicrobial effects contribute to stopping odour causing bacteria and will last the life of the textile, prolonging product life span. The treatment has outstanding resistance to machine washing, with 99.9% reduction in bacteria even after 100 wash cycles and it only needs to be washed at a low temperature, reducing energy consumption too! Filled with a soft and fluffy polyester fibre filling which provides a lot of warmth and comfort. Made from recycled PET flake, made from recycled plastic bottles which are cleansed, shredded and heated to form fibres. The filling is fire retardant to British Standard BS5852.
