This rubbing alcohol acts as a powerful first-aid antiseptic, suitable for preventing and managing a variety of common external ailments. One of its most recognised uses on farms is in the treatment of scaly leg in poultry.
Scaly leg is a widespread condition in chickens caused by parasitic mites, leading to irritation, deformity and in severe cases reduced mobility. Because of how quickly it can progress, keeping an effective antiseptic treatment readily available is essential.
NETTEX Surgical Spirit provides a practical and effective solution for scaly leg as well as other skin issues in poultry and livestock. It is easy to apply and highly effective when used externally; however, it must not be ingested or applied to internal wounds.

Since lock down, I've been using this alcohol to disinfect surfaces. I researched it extensively and the staff at Tanner confirmed that it was not harmful for humans in the way I was using it. all round great product, great price and great service!
