After hours of research into the best waterproof coat for working outdoors I stumbled across Flexothane - recommended by someone on a farming Facebook group. It really is a fantastic material and has kept me completely dry in wild and wintry conditions. Dries out in record time too. I like the long back to keep your lower back and bum warm & dry when bending/crouching down. Downsides are that it doesn't come in women's sizes so I kinda had to guess. I bought a Large (I'm a size 18/20) and it is huge on me! Arms are very long! But I can fit loads of layers underneath, which is a bonus. I like the popper cuffs as you can fasten them over thick, winter glove cuffs to keep the water out. Also helps with the long arm issue! Other downsides are that the deep pockets don't have poppers, so they fill up with water if the flaps are not kept outside the pocket, and the zip came away from the front panel, right at the bottom, when I sat down in the coat. Will have to try and work out a way to stitch it up. Would love it if the hood could be a little larger and have a peak to keep drips out of my eyes, and also have elasticated drawstring rather than cotton, with stays to keep the hood tight to your face as the cotton tie easily loosens in the wind. Otherwise I am really pleased with the coat as it is also very light to carry. Does the job intended!

The wellies are comfortable but very wide on feet, I have to wear 2 extra pairs of socks for to stop my feet moving around.

Both the gel and fabric&leather proofer are superb. But you must use them one after the other...see Nikwax web site for videos. Used as directed they provide a great waterproof coating. Leave at least 24hrs for drying. The cleaning gel is terrific. The trigger sprays on these bottles are far better than similar poducts with sponge applicators.

Great service from Tanners. They are perfect for what they are for. My son is a farm hand so out in all winds and weathers. He had a pair of these but decided to get another and Tanners online were the best price. Great product for keeping the elements out and whilst in the worst of conditions. Arrived well packed. Would definitely recommend.
