Insulation technique...
Condensation is a natural phenomenon that occurs inside traditional waterproofs as soon
as there is a difference in temperature between the outside and the inside of the garment.
Our ISOLATECH SYSTEM is using the double glazing principle. An insulating membrane
covers all the body parts in contact with the jacket : shoulders, chest and top of the back.
The condensation is greatly reduced!

As a little background I spend a lot of time High Peak as a practitioner of landscape/outdoor photography, hiking roughly 500 miles per year in all weather conditions. I had grown tired of outdoor recreation outlets/companies selling "almost waterproof" jackets as I have come to call them, that claim to be "fully waterproof" but ultimately never are. As such it became clear that I needed to purchase a PPE rated jacket used by professionals who work in wet environments i.e. commercial fishermen. This jacket fits the bill perfectly; first and foremost it is definitely waterproof! Secondly a good range of motion is afforded when tackling scrambles or short climbs as a result of the cut/fit of the jacket. It is has just the right of room underneath for a full set of hiking layers including a thick wool jumper but doesn't create any awkward folds in the material under the shoulder or waist straps of a backpack. The other features I enjoyed about this jacket out on the Peak is it's thermal insulation/protection from the wind and the "magic hood" which was easy to adjust and worked just as described. I should mention the colour too in a hiking context; I feel assured that if I ever needed to be located by Mountain Rescue whilst in distress, I would be easily visible. This product is fully deserving of it's 5 stars.
