The Gallagher S60li is an innovative solar energiser. With its built-in lithium battery, this device is 60% lighter and more compact than comparable models, making it more powerful and reliable in addition to being more portable. Thanks to its special game mode, the S60li is also suitable for fending off wild animals. With a force of 0.6 joules, it is suitable for fences up to 6 km and sheep nets.
Thanks to lithium technology and the advanced 5.6W solar panel, it charges itself three times faster with daylight and offers a three times longer operating time than comparable energisers. This means reliable power day and night, summer and winter. The intelligent adaptive energy control, Gallagher's patented battery management system, keeps the device working even in low-light periods.
The S60li is very robust and completely maintenance-free. The fully sealed housing and magnetic dial protect the electronics and battery. The patented solar panel has double glass and the S60li provides built-in lightning protection. This makes the device resistant to insects and all weather conditions. With a seven-year product warranty, including three years on the battery, you are assured of reliable protection for your animals for a long time.
Place the device with the solar panel facing south-west and free from vegetation. Ground it with one 1-metre earth stake (#008735) or a 2x0.5m double earth stake (#090457). Do not place it on the ground, but use the holder (#571126) to mount it on a post or earth stake, or the stand (#007509) that can be driven into the ground and also serves as an earth stake.
The red and green cables with alligator clips to connect the device to the fence and earth stake are included. After purchase or storage, allow the device to fully charge itself in daylight for three days first by placing it in the off position facing south. Do this even if the red LED indicates that the battery is low. For long-term storage, keep the device in a dark, dry and ventilated place.
