I have a number of hoof picks but a lot I don't use as I feel they are not safe around the frog area. This one is more like the older version and I think the blunter end is safer.
My horse likes to pull hard at a hay net and usually finishes up making lots of holes in them. We have recently changed yards and although we put stable rings in with bolts he managed to pull them out of the wall. I decided to buy him a hay rack and with so many fixtures and not having a net he can eat his hay without destroying the wall.
