These little bobbin insulators are excellent. They hold the polywire quite firmly in place and are better than anything I've used before. Next year I'll replace some of the plastic fence posts and replace them with small wooden posts with these attached. My lawn will remain badger free: One morning, a few years back, they had dug forty seven holes in the overnight!

Tougher than they look and excellent for internal corners. Have also installed them on some external corners and they work well (not sure if that’s what they’re designed for, but it works)
Used them in some areas where there’s a combination of changes in height and direction.
Easy to install & then use one handed. Power disconnects from the whole gate as soon as you disengage the top of the handle, which means that you don’t get zapped when the tape gate is flapping in the wind as you open it.
Although mains powered energisers are not new, they are to me. This delivers a strong pulse across all of our complicated set-up (lots of separate sections connected by insulated cable) and no more batteries draining and needing recharging.
A bit friendlier to your hands than some electric fence rope.
