I hadn't used Tanner Trading before, but they offered a great delivered price and I gave them a go. I'm glad I did as they quickly shipped exactly what they said that would and I was very pleased with the product and service.
I didn't realise that you shouldn't use shoe polish etc. on GORE-TEX boots, so after some online research, Nikwax looked to be the most recommended treatment. I was sceptical, but gave it a try. Having cleaned the boots with just water and a sponge and let them dry, I applied the Nikwax using my fingers and rubbed it into the very well worn boots, particularly the seams. Immediately you could see and feel the difference. I used neutral colour Nikwax on brown boots and it gave them a rich deep brown colour. I haven't tried them for waterproof tests yet, but I'm sure I will be equally impressed.

Love these boots. They are true to size. I fit a size 4.5 so was delighted that half sizes were available. Comfortable to wear but the soft leather and robust soles make them very sturdy. Tanners offered them at a really good price!
